Meet one of our Authors, Vladdeep, who has shared his Envato experience and business advice with us. 

How did you get started as a creator and where are you based?

I Live in Minsk, the city of incredible people and beautiful locations.

I had been fond of photography for more than 11 years. A friend actually told me about Envato and so I decided to try my hand at it. I sent in an application – and I was accepted!

What do you love about your work the most and what’s the most challenging thing about it?

I love the independence working for Envato gives me and that I get to be creative. I would have to say that procrastination has to be the most challenging thing about my work.

What does being a photographer mean to you?

To be a photographer means to always be in search, looking for inspiration and ideas. Being a part of the huge world of stock photography feels like riding a wave. It’s really cool and exciting! Everyone and everything can open your eyes to something new.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I have a lot of interests such as:

• Films & books
• Travelling
• Cycling & swimming
• Playing the guitar & chess
• 3D modelling & construction
• Psychology & the global economy

What is your advice to other Authors who want to be successful on Envato?

Don’t quit until you get it done. You should also try to enjoy the process as much as possible without hoping for a hasty result. Patience is key.

What’s next for you?

I would like to continue taking thoughtful pictures and creating complex conceptual content with high-quality visualisation. In addition, I would like to find and devote more time to creating 3D content.
